About
Located at the top of Norwood Park on Salters Hill, this spot started life as a paddling pool before Freestyle reshaped it in 2014.
The original undulating “blobs” and “volcano” are still there, with newer transitions added in a way that complements the original features.
There’s an open bowl (around 2ft) with mellow quarter entries, a 3ft tombstone-style quarter, and a 1ft taco. A 2ft mini splits the older upper section.
It’s quirky and compact, but you can link plenty of lines, and the concrete has aged well.
A proper local legend of a park, it’s been a backdrop for countless pros, photos, and clips. See below to witness some of the folklore.
